Don Gaspar to the Casa Blanca Inn to the Bluelake Ranch

The Sister Inn Special hosted by the Inns of the Southwest has become a favorite of our guests.

Once landed safely in Albuquerque our guests enjoy a peaceful one hour drive to Santa Fe to enjoy the Don Gaspar Inn - our 3 home bed and breakfast featuring ten varying accommodations. Three days in Santa Fe seems to be ideal since much less does not allow one to enjoy enough of the fabulous dining, art and culture available in this small town.

After a few is time to take a drive north and west towards Farmington...a day trip to Taos is often a good segway...and then via Abique and a left at the Abique Dam thru the country on route 94 thru Coyote until the 550 connects to Farmington. Farmington offers an entirely different experience of Native Culture, Arts, trading posts and a very sleepy vintage town with most of the conveniences of towns all across America. In the downtown - just minutes from the Casa Blanca, you will find some great restaurants including the 3 Rivers Brewery and Boon's Thai food. The Days will typically be spent touring Native Lands, ruins and enjoying the outdoors; fishing, hiking, adventuring in the badlands. If you are lucky - you will hear the thunder of the mesa's and experience a deep sense of history in the Magical Four Corners region!

Blue Lake Ranch is just a short 40 minute drive from Farmington and will offer an entirely different experience on 200 private acres. Dressed in gentle terrain, the rivers, fields, trees and mountains will embrace you. Enjoy a 15 minute drive to Durango...ride the Silverton - Durango Small Gauge Train or a rafting ride down the Animas (in season)...for more adventures to round out your trip! Then head back thru Chama, Santa Fe (where many stop for another restful night) then onto ABQ Sunport to fly out. You won't soon forget your journeys in the Southwest or the comfort of the Inns of the Southwest!
